Job Summary
Head 7th grade girls basketball coach at Liberty Middle School. Responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques, motivating players, organizing practices, assigning team positions, scheduling facilities and games with the athletic director, supervising athletes, and promoting the sport. Coaches students individually or in groups on rules, equipment, and techniques; monitors academic eligibility; communicates with parents/guardians; collaborates with staff and news/media; ensures equipment and uniforms are managed; adheres to NF, IHSAA, and district regulations; demonstrates nondiscriminatory practices and professional conduct; may participate in awards, pep assemblies, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Education – GED or higher
- Essential – High School Varsity or Collegiate level experience as an athlete or coach
- High School Head Coaching, college head coaching and/or college assistant coaching experience preferred
- Criminal Background Check – national, state and local checks required and approved before offer
