Registered Nurse responsible for general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN is preferred. Duties may include additional responsibilities within scope of role and varying by area assigned. Emphasis on teamwork, communication, infection control, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Third shift assigned at Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama.
