Job Summary
Plan and provide instruction to students identified as disabled under IDEA in accordance with the Individual Education Plan (IEP); participate in the ARD/IEP process as a representative or committee member from special education instruction; collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team; maintain records and progress reports; use technology to support instruction; follow TEA/district/campus policies; support safety and behavioral expectations; may involve care duties such as assisting students with physical disabilities and related procedures; 187 instructional days; primary responsibilities include planning, instruction, data collection, collaboration with related service providers, and communicating with families and staff to promote student growth and compliance with IEP goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
