Job Summary
Perform routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility to maintain buildings, locker rooms and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition. Requires ability to perform heavy physical labor, use cleaning materials and equipment according to standards, follow schedules and safety procedures, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must maintain tools and equipment, perform minor non-technical repairs, observe and report maintenance needs, and meet daily schedules while working 8 hours during a 1:30 PM – 10 PM shift across 240 days. Education: high school diploma or GED; background checks and medical screenings required. Salary based on experience; see district salary schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated progress toward obtaining a GED or other educational training
- State/national criminal background check; Physical, TB risk assessment, CAN check & drug screen
