Job Summary
Night shift Respiratory Therapist responsible for ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene and airway maintenance. Must assess respiratory care for adults and neonates, perform diagnostics (ABG, PFTs, ECG), interpret CXR/ABG/PFT data, operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment, and participate in infection control and quality assurance. Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, BLS/ACLS, NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 1 year of hire, and Texas licensure; new graduates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification required
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
