737 A&P Mechanic

Job Summary
Maintenance on a modified Boeing 737-500; read and interpret maintenance manuals and FAA publications; perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; diagnose and repair components; assemble/install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components; interpret pilots’ discrepancies; travel with aircraft for spray operations/demos; operate spray system during flights; complete regulatory and company paperwork; maintain parts inventory; provide customer service to pilots and management; develop work schedules; on-call after hours/weekends; relocation assistance provided; FAA A&P certified technician with 5+ years Boeing 737 experience and willingness to travel up to 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- FAA A&P certificate
- Avionics/electrical knowledge
- Live within 30-45 minutes from Weyers Cave, VA area
- Minimum of 5 years aircraft experience of Boeing 737 or like series aircraft experience desired
- Good teamwork, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Computer skills with Microsoft Apps including email and submission of detailed maintenance and flight information: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly resourceful
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel away from home location for up to 30 days based on customer/company needs
- Ability to lift, balance, and carry 50-150 lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces, and predominantly work in enclosed hangars, occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heights
- Valid Passport
- Ability to work a full time position Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. On call requirements include after hours and weekends
