Job Summary
Unload and break down deliveries, rotate stocks for freshness, and cut or trim products into saleable sizes for better presentation. Handle spoiled products properly while keeping accurate logs in accordance with company, state food safety, and health policies. Clean walk-in coolers, sanitize tools and equipment, and maintain work areas free of boxes and debris to prevent injury. Complete production processes, quality control, and other techniques maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Perform other duties as needed for business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Be flexible with assigned working schedules.
- Have a Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one.
- Must be self-motivated, creative, and passionate about food.
- Having strong time management, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to work weekends and early morning shifts.
- Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment.
- Able to work occasionally with an environment temperature ranging from 32oF to 50°F.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is preferred.
