Job Summary
Read blueprints and sketches to calculate material needs. Cut and adjust bricks and concrete blocks per specifications. Construct, install, and repair walls, foundations, chimneys, fireplaces, and civil, industrial, and commercial projects. Install fireproof and special bricks for industrial furnaces and chimneys. Lay bricks and stone for exterior walls or decorative projects such as gardens and ornamental walls. Install precast construction blocks. Restore, clean, and paint existing structures. Maintain a full-time schedule with on-call rotation. Requires high school graduation, a 3–4 year vocational program, or four years of practical experience plus relevant coursework.
Required Qualifications
