Job Summary
The Gate Express Car Wash team member greets customers, supports efficient vehicle processing through the wash, ensures cleanliness and safety, operates the Express Wash kiosk and POS, and provides friendly, helpful service. The role involves customer interactions, basic equipment operation, maintaining facility cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols, with training provided on car wash procedures and equipment. The position requires flexibility for weekends/holidays, physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to work indoors and outdoors. The candidate will be trained on all car wash functions including operating kiosks, guiding vehicles, performing minor equipment repairs, and maintaining merchandise and facility cleanliness. PPE will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level sufficient to communicate with customers and team members
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be minimum of 16 years old
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and split shifts
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to operate a computer
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead)
- Must have adequate strength, balance, and coordination to perform essential functions
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including endurance of temperature and weather changes outside
