Job Summary
Senior Specialist, Operations in Tokyo coordinating between Western Union Retail Services locations and subagent networks to provide training, coordinate upgrades and rollouts, maintenance and troubleshooting. Drives operational improvements, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees end-to-end agent experience lifecycle including onboarding lead times and post-activation support. Collaborates with Agent Network Management, Independents, and branches rollout, monitors account payout network tasks, and implements processes to improve cost effectiveness and quality. Requires data analysis, cross-functional program management experience, and bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese. Expected to work from the office a minimum of three days a week and align with global regulatory and service-delivery objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of years’ experience in retail consumer, bank, financial services/payment services, call center organizations with emphasis on technology and process or product management.
- Experience leading and managing large global cross-functional programs, with ability to network and communicate across all functions and management levels.
- Experience with program or project management principles, tools and processes with emphasis on Global Retail and Digital products and technologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and Japanese; strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
