Job Summary
Set up and take down promotional displays, ensure shelf tags are accurate, and keep refrigerators neat and well-stocked. Maintain clean aisles and common areas, remove expired or recalled products with proper logging, and unload deliveries to stock shelves using the First-In-First-Out method. Help customers locate products, conduct inventory counts, and follow company policies for cleaning coolers and freezers. Rotate products to prevent spoilage and ensure older items are placed in front. Available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules with temperatures ranging from 32 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules
- Having or willing to obtain a Food Handling Card
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies
- Proper training and knowledge of equipment operation required
- Standing in place for a long period of time
- Bending to pick up items
- Kneeling regularly
- Lifting items weighing 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment
- Able to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32o to 50 oF
Desired Qualifications
- Previous stocking experience is preferred
- Knowledge of general grocery product lines or similar experience
- Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish is highly preferred
