Job Summary
Conduct receiving and merchandising operations by orchestrating truck deliveries, prioritizing merchandise processing, and ensuring items are properly tagged, hung, and secured. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience while enforcing cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards in the backroom. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Manage back stock rotation, ensure compliance with labor laws and safety protocols, and communicate priorities with management and the Coordinator on Duty.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
