Job Summary
Overnight X-ray exams and radiographic imaging using fluoroscopy/CR/DR systems; responsibilities include patient prep, positioning, immobilization assistance, and handling of images. Performs radiologic procedures per standards; ensures informed consent when needed; maintains equipment and documentation, labels images accurately, and logs examinations. Maintains patient safety in accordance with technical and safety standards and reports any notable patient conditions to the radiologist. Requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, state licensure, ARRT registration, and minimum 1 year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams
