7/8 Math Teacher

Teach two sections of 7th grade math covering algebra, rational numbers, exponents, proportionality, linear relationships, statistics, and probability, plus two sections of 8th grade math focusing on algebra, linear relationships, nonlinear functions, and statistics. Cultivate a community of inquisitive, math-minded students while acting as an advisor to support their academic and social-emotional growth. Supervise student safety during recess and lunch rotations, write student reports, and collaborate with colleagues to review and update curriculum maps. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in instructional practice, maintain a growth mindset through faculty professional development, and perform other duties as assigned, including occasional event chaperoning.
