Job Summary
Operate large road train combinations transporting dangerous goods in remote mining environments while adhering to legislative and site requirements. Conduct pre-start inspections, complete transport documentation, and safely load/unload freight. Report vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly. Maintain a clean driving history over five years and hold an MC-Unrestricted licence, with a Dangerous Goods licence or willingness to obtain one. Work 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 FIFO or DIDO roster, including weekends and nights. Interstate applicants bear travel expenses.
Required Qualifications
- MC-Unrestricted driver's licence
- Clean driving history over the past five years
- Ability to be clean shaven
- Proven experience as a truck driver operating a road ranger gearbox and MC-Unrestricted licence
- Current Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong commitment to safety and fatigue management
- Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights as required
- 7 on / 7 off lifestyle roster
- 12 hour shifts
- FIFO or DIDO opportunities
- Interstate applicants be aware that travel to site would be at own expense
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience transporting dangerous goods within mining, fuel, bulk haulage or remote operations environments
- Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Reach Stacker Licence (or willingness to obtain)
