Job Summary
Load and unload parcels at depots and customer locations while conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Manage delivery statuses using company devices and software, handling up to 30 daily collections. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, WTD legislation, and company policies to maintain safety standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries. Requires full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement, valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and a safety-first mindset. Monday to Friday shifts starting at 09:00 am with hourly pay of £16.05.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
- Valid and up-to-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
- Full understanding of WTD legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- A safety-first mindset
