Job Summary
Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on designated local routes with approximately 40 to 50 stops daily, ensuring every parcel reaches its destination. Navigate the community using industry-leading Saturn handheld devices for tracking and delivery management while loading and unloading parcels with sack barrows and hand trucks. Maintain a safe, professional, and efficient driving standard as the friendly face of the DPD experience for customers. Work Monday through Friday starting at 8am with a permanent 40-hour contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence
- DQC/CPC accreditation
- 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles
- Must be able to lift safely using sack barrows and hand trucks
- Must be available for Monday - Friday shifts
- Must be available for 8am start
- Must be available for 40 Hours per week
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to treat customers and colleagues with respect
- Must be able to use industry-leading Saturn handheld devices
- Must be able to navigate local routes
- Must be able to load and unload parcels
- Must be able to ensure deliveries hit their destination
- Must be able to stay safe and professional while driving
- Must be able to provide a service that makes a difference to customers
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Must be able to work out in the real world rather than behind a screen
Desired Qualifications
