Job Summary
6th Grade Teacher in a 50/50 two-way dual language program serving diverse students; responsibilities include standards-based instruction, lesson planning, serving as Crew Leader, fostering positive relationships with students and families, and monitoring academic and social progress; open to English-only or bilingual (Spanish & English) candidates; must hold or be able to obtain Colorado Elementary Education license; salary range $54,000-$83,500; full-time 1.0 FTE, 185-day contract; benefits include district health and pension.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher in Elementary Education or related field
- Active Colorado Teaching License in Elementary Education K-6 or ability to obtain
- Official transcripts provided upon hire (including for international transcripts if applicable)
- Experience teaching elementary or middle school; preferred in diverse populations
- Ability to implement culturally responsive instruction and support English Language Learners
- Strong instructional planning and assessment skills
- Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred
