Job Summary
The 6th Grade Teacher at Matteson School District 162 will teach assigned programs and implement the district's educational philosophy, encouraging high standards of academic achievement and behavior. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, maintaining discipline in the classroom, and evaluating students' growth. The teacher will also communicate with parents, identify student needs, create a safe learning environment, and participate in staff development and meetings.
