6th Grade Teacher

Plan and develop effective instructional strategies to increase student achievement while addressing individual learning differences and IEP goals. Present new content at an appropriate rate, manage classroom time to ensure goal success, and maintain updated lesson plans. Use data to gauge student progress and guide instruction, ensuring activities deliver calculable results on recognized standards. Supervise students during lunch, assemblies, field trips, and recess, while assisting with discipline procedures and bus boarding/departing. Communicate with students, faculty, and the community to maintain a safe, student-centered environment. Maintain individual student records and confidentiality, advocating for professional development and best practices in instruction.
