6th grade Social Studies Teacher

Design and implement Social Studies lesson plans for grades 6-8 while assessing student progress and maintaining appropriate records. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, disaggregate student data, and establish clear objectives for units and projects. Create a conducive learning environment, encourage behavioral standards, and guide students toward curriculum goals. Evaluate academic and social growth, prepare progress reports, and promote parent involvement in educational activities. Supervise classroom, students, aides, and volunteers while participating in grade-level meetings and district committees.
