6th Grade Science Teacher - Indiana Connections Academy

6th Grade Science Teacher needed for Indiana Connections Academy (virtual public charter school). The role involves teaching science from your home office in Indiana with asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction, grading and progress reporting, regular communication with learning coaches, students, and other teachers to develop Personal Learning Plans, and supporting students with different instructional strategies. Responsibilities include managing student records and attendance, collaborating with a professional learning community, coordinating field trips and integrating them into the curriculum, participating in state testing administration, and representing the school in student recruiting efforts. Strong technology skills (Microsoft OS, MS Office, Google Suite), excellent communication, organization, and customer-focused approach are required. Occasional travel for marketing and state testing events may be required; willingness to work some evenings to support families. Requires teaching certification for Science in Indiana and the ability to work remotely from Indiana.
