Job Summary
Teach 6th grade science aligned to SCDE Standards and Anderson School District Five's Approved Curriculum; plan daily instruction to meet diverse student needs and pacing; use multiple instructional strategies and formats, provide explanations, examples, demonstrations, and targeted feedback; monitor student learning with observation, questioning, informal assessments, and adjustments to instruction; maintain student behavior rules, routines, and a safe, confidential classroom; communicate progress to parents/guardians; collaborate with staff, attend meetings, and participate in professional development; 190-day term with salary determined by district schedule; full-time position reporting to the principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid South Carolina teaching certificate corresponding with the grade level/content taught (Elementary or Middle Level Science)
