Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. The role requires delivering instruction and managing a 6th-grade ELAR classroom, aligning with curriculum and instructional practices, and fostering student growth. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, a Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject/level, and ESL certification or ability to obtain it. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with knowledge of the subjects assigned, curriculum/instruction, and classroom management. Preferred experience includes classroom experience and student teaching or approved internship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
- English as a Second Language certification, or ability to obtain, required
