Head Athletic Coach for 6th Grade Boys Basketball at Fleming County Schools. Responsible for promoting sports in the school and community, planning and organizing the athletic program, and supervising practices. Teaches individual fundamental skills, team play, team strategy, and the rules of basketball; instills sportsmanship and self-control with professionalism; checks participant eligibility, physicals, insurance, and parent consent. Provides students with appropriate guidance, maintains regular communication with players, parents, school personnel and officials, and attends in-service training and staff development. Develops good rapport with stakeholders and assists with equipment, supplies, and uniforms as needed. Performance evaluated according to board policy and best practices.
