6C Neurology PCA days

Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in individualized patient care to achieve the patient’s highest level of wellness. Works cooperatively as part of a team; performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care. Education options include High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare career program; Mercy will provide a 175-hour training program within the new hire orientation, to be completed within 90 days. BLS required within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, and ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat. Preferred credential: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Locations: Springfield, MO.
