Job Summary
Conduct daily material handling by bringing supplies to production lines and keeping lines clear of completed skids. Perform pre-shift truck inspections and complete daily P.M. checklists while ensuring proper placement of finished product. Weigh scrap gaylords at shift end or during change-overs and manage basic math calculations for material ordering. Operate trucks with basic familiarity and adhere to SOPs, cGMP, and food safety regulations. Work in extreme heat above 100 degrees for over an hour, requiring stooping, bending, kneeling, and long periods of standing.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Must show basic familiarity with truck operations
- Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily
- Know the proper placement of all finished product
- Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's
- Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's
- Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
- Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
- Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

- Standing for long periods of time
