Operate and adjust multiple polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment to produce integral zipper plastic tubing. Work from prescribed production goals, schedules, and detailed specifications while consulting with the bag department, shift leadership, maintenance, and purchasing. Ensure raw material availability and requisition needed items. Collaborate with the shift supervisor and team to establish production, scrap, and quality goals. Perform simple calculations for daily production totals and maintain necessary production, quality, and equipment records. Work in an environment subject to extreme heat, loud noises, and moving machinery hazards.
