Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service by managing cash registers and stocking or cleaning duties only when customer lines are short. Safeguard company assets by following cash control policies, operating safes correctly, and completing vendor check-in procedures. Pay immediate attention to spills or hazardous conditions and complete all end-of-shift paperwork. Stand for up to eight hours per shift and lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining eighth-grade level English and math competency. Read and operate electronic cash registers and gas consoles with sufficient visual acuity. Good personal grooming habits are required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand and write the English language at the eighth-grade level, including the ability to hear the spoken word.
- Eighth-grade level math competency in order to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of a variety of products during vendor check-in.
- Sufficient visual acuity to check identification.
- Ability to read and understand instructions for operating electronic cash registers, gas consoles, and other equipment.
- Good personal grooming habits.
- Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
