Job Summary
Prepare raw materials, form, cut, and bake dough while following receipts and mixing instructions. Ensure products are well-merchandised with proper signage, unload deliveries, and stock shelves using the First-In-First-Out method. Monitor expiration dates, wrap items for customers, and perform demos to drive sales. Greet shoppers, answer product questions, and process checkouts accurately. Maintain a safe environment, coordinate cleaning needs, and control department assets. Walk-ins welcome at 1688 Hostetter Road, San Jose, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Working knowledge of the baking process
- Good customer service skills
- Good time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
- Standing for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling
- Ability to lift 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment
