Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a behavioral residential home setting in Webster, MA. Provide advocacy and support to adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities; duties include household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and assisting with medical appointments, community participation, and following Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans. Training is provided (CPR/First Aid, MAP, and program/person-specific training). Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and fluent in English. Schedule includes weekends and weekday evenings; part-time options available with 32 hours. Salary range is $17.50–$19.00 with paid training; benefits include company-paid life insurance, health, dental and vision, paid time off, sick time, and sign-on bonuses. Employees work in a highly behavioral residential setting and must maintain relevant certifications and comply with DDS regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals.
- Employees must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above, and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
