Job Summary
Provide direct-care nursing for adults and older adults with complex medical and psychosocial conditions in a 36-bed general medicine/telemetry unit. Manage patients with acute and chronic diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes, and Pneumonia while collaborating with medical providers and mid-level practitioners. Deliver care within an integrated Addiction Recovery Program serving adults seeking voluntary detoxification for alcohol and opiate misuse. Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards and demonstrate effective prioritization, observational skills, and stress management. Work rotating evening and night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Certification in basic life Support for Healthcare providers
- Adherence to all I C.A.R.E. standards
- Evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a Group of patients
- Observational skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to function under stress

- Effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service
