Job Summary
Off-Cycle 6-month internship in Houlihan Lokey's Oil & Gas Corporate Finance group in Dubai, focusing on researching and analysing financial statements, general economic conditions, industry-specific developments, and investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies. You will gain exposure to capital raisings and financing structures, and work on transactions across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific with potential longer-term opportunities in Hong Kong. You will work with a talented staff, receive substantial responsibilities, and engage in live engagements. Responsibilities include researching and analysing financial statements, market conditions, industry developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and valuation attributes; supporting financial modelling and due diligence; and collaborating with senior-level professionals in a fast-paced environment. English proficiency is required; Mandarin is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic background
- 6-month off-cycle internship in investment banking or corporate finance preferred
- M&A/Corporate Finance experience preferable
- Strong financial and computer skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Solid accounting and finance knowledge (financial statements analysis)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Mandarin language advantageous
- Immediate availability for 6 months
