Job Summary
Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to transform complex data into actionable insights for commercial performance and operational efficiency. Develop, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView to track key business metrics. Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into analytical solutions and deliver ad-hoc analysis for forecasting. Identify trends and risks within learner and revenue data while ensuring accuracy and documentation across all reporting. Present clear insights to both technical and non-technical audiences to support strategic initiatives and training outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related role
- Able to clearly explain approach to both SQL and data-related questions and demonstrate a solid understanding of data modelling, transformations, and analytical logic
- Ability to write SQL and translate it into Power BI
- They also need to be able to document the process
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation
- Experience working with tools for analysis, automation, or modelling
- Working/ development experience in DataBricks and QlikView
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, validation, and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking ability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearly
- Advanced SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong Tableau experience for interactive dashboards and storytelling
- Working knowledge of Power BI for business reporting
- Solid Excel capability for data preparation and analysis
- Minimum Professional Experience
- Strong blend of BA & Technical, with the backdrop of being able to operate with the degree of ambiguity/ development we require with our data/systems
- Able to gather requirements and translate them back to technical requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or equivalent
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
- Degree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field
