Job Summary
Provide effective secondary school classroom instruction in science for pupils while managing materials and resources to ensure a safe, optimal learning environment. Motivate students, influence their behaviors, and collaborate to create logical instructional plans that produce strong results. Coordinate instruction across grade levels, align curriculum with assessments, and use formative assessments to adjust daily teaching. Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions, implementing a tiered system to meet the needs of all students. Demonstrate the ability to leverage the student support network to address social, emotional, nutritional, and health needs. Maintain a professional environment of mutual respect, teamwork, and accountability while seeking instructional support from knowledgeable peers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicable State certification and licensure requirements
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Capability to lift, bend, stoop, squat, and stand for long periods of time
