Job Summary
6-8 Math Teacher needed to plan, organize, and present instructional environments and experiences for grades 6-8, reporting to the Principal and supervising teacher assistants as needed. Responsibilities include managing instructional time and student behavior, delivering clear and engaging math instruction, monitoring student performance with regular feedback, and coordinating with colleagues to align objectives, assessments, and instructional plans with school-wide goals. Strong emphasis on effective classroom management, clear communication, and ensuring students develop mathematical understanding and skills aligned with licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
