Job Summary
Assist teachers in providing small group and individual instruction while monitoring student objectives and maintaining discipline. Correct daily work assignments, operate equipment such as computers and video systems, and provide activities for students in teacher-monitored classrooms. Support individual students in various classes as necessary and ensure student safety. Report directly to the building principal and fulfill other related duties as assigned. Bilingual ability is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate, or GED
- AA degree, or 48-semester credits or 72-quarter credits from an institution of higher education, or have successfully passed the Washington State Academic Assessment Praxis II Para Pro Test (WASST)
- Dependable
- Trustworthy
- Experience working with children and adults
- Good time manager

- Must meet PESB requirements for the Fundamental Course of Study
