Job Summary
Provide instruction and guidance to 5th grade students, monitor growth using an 8-step data collection process (including Acuity and fluency testing), and integrate technology and the arts into instructional plans. Exhibit strong classroom management, collaborate with fellow teachers, communicate with students and parents about academic needs, develop daily lesson plans, reflect on instruction regularly, and maintain professional responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Teaching License
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Secondary Education or related field
- Prefer experience in the grade/content level during the past 3 years
- Must not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan
