Job Summary
5th Grade Math Teacher responsible for delivering instruction aligned to state and district standards, designing lesson plans, and guiding student learning in a reg ed/ESS classroom. Duties include planning and delivering lessons, differentiating for diverse learners, assessing student performance using data, maintaining classroom routines, supervising assistants/volunteers, participating in team and parent meetings, and communicating progress to parents/guardians. Requires a Bachelor's degree and current Louisiana teaching certification; reports to Immediate Supervisor; located at Glen Oaks Park Elementary in East Baton Rouge Parish. Proficiency with classroom technology and documentation of student data and required reports is expected.
