5th Grade Math/Science Teacher

Plan and deliver 5th-grade math and science instruction aligned with state and parish curriculum requirements. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior to maintain a safe, respectful learning environment. Assess student progress through varied techniques, provide timely feedback, and reteach as needed. Develop and maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for special education students, coordinate IEP meetings, and collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and community resources. Supervise students during all school activities, including before/after school, recess, and lunch. Complete required documentation, including self-evaluations, progress notes, and grade records within established timelines. Participate in faculty meetings, PLCs, and professional development sessions.
