Job Summary
5th Grade - Grant Wood Elementary School: Provides instruction in elementary classroom settings for 5th grade students at Grant Wood Elementary School in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role supports and implements the district curriculum, standards, and benchmarks; collaborates with staff, parents, and students; and plans/delivers social-emotional/behavioral school-wide programming. Requires on-site teaching, state certification with content-area endorsement, and the ability to communicate effectively with families and community members. Responsibilities include developing and implementing programming across content areas, maintaining records, upholding Iowa Teaching Standards, and ensuring reliable attendance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Iowa Teaching Certification with an endorsement in content area
