Job Summary
Provide direct bedside care to patients by performing assigned nursing procedures for their comfort and well-being. Maintain accurate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets, while assisting physicians with examinations and tests as needed. Utilize advanced knowledge of phlebotomy and lab specimen collection, including T&S and blood cultures, to support clinical workflows. Perform other tasks related to respiratory and rehabilitation services. This role requires rotating day and night shifts, including three 12-hour shifts weekly and every third weekend.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- PCT or related certification
- Certified nursing assistant (CNA)
- EMT
- Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience
- Certification and completion of advanced skills and knowledge training within six months of hire
- AHA BLS
- Must be able to work rotating shifts (day & night)
- Must be able to work three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basis
- Must be able to work every third(3rd) weekend
- Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season
