Job Summary
Support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and medication administration. Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, and community outings while following Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and medical guidelines. Safely evacuate clients during emergencies and maintain all required certifications including CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18+
- reliable transportation
- valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Employees must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above
- demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job
- Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program and individuals supported
- This may include holidays, overnights, or double-shifts
