Paraprofessional at Key West High School provides classroom support by assisting teachers with activities and helping students with individual learning needs, including those with special needs, learning difficulties, or language barriers. The role supports a smooth, effective learning environment during the 2026-2027 school year, with hours of 7:35 AM–2:30 PM and a school-year schedule of 186 days. Paraprofessionals may receive annual supplements for degree attainment (Associate $1,200; Bachelor’s $1,500; Master’s/Doctorate $1,800) and can pursue the Grow Our Own tuition reimbursement program after one year to earn a bachelor’s degree. Qualifications include an Associate Degree or 60 College Credits or High School Diploma plus a passing score on the Parapro Assessment (450+).
