Job Summary

The role is for a Secretary responsible for clerical duties within the program, including scheduling client appointments, billing clients, and maintaining client records and correspondence. Essential functions include screening calls, directing messages, scheduling/confirming appointments, interviewing clients to complete intake forms, maintaining patient records and correspondence, ordering supplies, and other administrative tasks. Requires punctuality, adherence to health and safety policies, ability to travel to multiple locations (Jamaica/Woodside/Flushing), and a shift that includes evenings (12-8pm) and Saturday rotation. Qualifications emphasize a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and bilingual capability (Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese/Bengali or others depending on needs). Preferred qualifications include experience with Electronic Health Records, Mandarin fluency, and basic billing knowledge. Must maintain HIPAA confidentiality and operate in a professional, accurate manner with limited supervision.
