Job Summary
Monitor, patrol, and secure physical access to protected facilities in Palo Alto while identifying and neutralizing potential threats. Apprehend violators, mediate conflicts, and enforce rules and regulations. Allow only authorized materials in and out, correct irregular conditions, and maintain relationships with law enforcement. Respond to emergencies including medical issues, bomb threats, and alarms by following established procedures. Report incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies to management and site managers. Conduct investigatory interviews, collect data for reports, and assist with special events. Maintain effective communication with team members and facility management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Security Guard Card
- 2 years of Security Experience
- Superb Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work in the United States
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in the English Language (Speaking and Writing)
- High School Diploma or Higher
- Good Physical Condition
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of people
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to pass written tests and drug screening
