Job Summary
Accompany drivers on delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate pre-8:00 a.m. parcel availability deliveries. Carry packages to designated drop-off points and participate in loading and unloading materials via repetitive lifting. Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening shift from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, operate company equipment safely, and submit all required documentation to the Night Supervisor or Operations Manager. Provide professional service to customers and sub-trades while maintaining a clean environment. This role supports Cardinal Couriers' overnight unattended delivery operations across Ontario and Quebec, ensuring goods reach clients before 8:00 a.m. using a vault system and key access.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum G License
- 2 years (required)
- Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean Ontario driver abstract and CVOR report
- Valid Ontario Commercial driver's license in good standing
- Clear criminal record check
- Previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience
- Comfortable and capable to lift up to 70 lbs
