Plan a program of study meeting individual student needs and create a classroom environment conducive to learning. Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals by establishing clear objectives and employing appropriate instructional methods. Assess student accomplishments regularly and counsel with colleagues, students, and parents on a regular basis. Assist administration in implementing policies governing student life, develop classroom behavior rules, and supervise teacher assistants or volunteers. Maintain professional competence and attend staff meetings as required. This ten-month role supports student development as mature, responsible individuals within the Putnam City Schools District.
