Job Summary
Develop 3 & 5-axis CNC programs for aerospace/defense hardware across materials like Inconel, titanium, aluminum, and nickel alloys. Create complete work packages (CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists) and provide shop-floor support. Drive lean manufacturing, implement SOPs, and mentor teammates. Collaborate with internal teams and clients; apply root-cause analysis and corrective actions to manufacturing processes, toolpath strategies, and fixture design. Proficient in GD&T and various machining operations including 3-axis, 5-axis, lathe, mill-turn, and wire EDM; experience with ERP/MES systems and CAD/CCA tools is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree with 8+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent
- Experience with offline CNC programming
- Experience with Siemens NX programming
- GD&T proficiency
- Proven problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance
