Job Summary
Teach high school students (grades 9-12) across all subjects, implementing Uncommon’s curriculum and maintaining a positive, structured learning environment. Analyze assessments to differentiate instruction, communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues, participate in orientation and ongoing instructional training, and contribute to grade-level and school-wide activities. Strong candidates will demonstrate a passion for urban youth, commitment to equity, and the ability to implement feedback from school leaders to improve student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master’s degree helpful but not required
- Valid State Certification and MTEL/SEI requirements
- SEI endorsement within first year
- GPA 2.75+
- MA educator license or MTEL pathway
